William Shakespeare (baptised 26 April 1564; died 23 April 1616)^] was an English poet and playwright, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. He is often called England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon". His surviving works, including some collaborations, consist of about 38 plays, 154 sonnets, two long narrative poems, and several other poems. His plays have been translated into every major living language and are performed more often than those of any other playwright.

William Shakespeare was the son of John Shakespeare, a successful glover originally from Snitterfield, and Mary Arden, the daughter of an affluent landowning farmer. He was born in Stratford-upon-Avon and baptised there on 26 April 1564. He was the third child of eight and the eldest surviving son.

Shakespeare probably was educated at the King's New School in Stratford, a free school chartered in 1553,^] about a quarter-mile from his home. Grammar schools varied in quality during the Elizabethan era, but the curriculum was dictated by law throughout England,^] and the school would have provided an intensive education in Latin grammar and the classics.

At the age of 18, Shakespeare married the 26-year-old Anne Hathaway and six months after the marriage Anne gave birth to a daughter, Susanna, baptised 26 May 1583. Twins, son Hamnetand daughter Judith, followed almost two years later and were baptised 2 February 1585. Hamnet died of unknown causes at the age of 11 and was buried 11 August 1596.

After the birth of the twins, Shakespeare left few historical traces until he is mentioned as part of the London theatre scene in 1592, and scholars refer to the years between 1585 and 1592 as Shakespeare's "lost years". It is not known exactly when Shakespeare began writing, but contemporary allusions and records of performances show that several of his plays were on the London stage by 1592.^]He was well enough known in London by then to be attacked in print by the playwright Robert Greene.

Greene’s attack is the first recorded mention of Shakespeare’s career in the theatre. Biographers suggest that his career may have begun any time from the mid-1580s to just before Greene’s remarks. From 1594, Shakespeare's plays were performed only by the Lord Chamberlain's Men, a company owned by a group of players, including Shakespeare, that soon became the leading playing company in London. After the death of Queen Elizabeth in 1603, the company was awarded a royal patent by the new king, James I, and changed its name to the King's Men.

In 1599, a partnership of company members built their own theatre on the south bank of the Thames, which they called the Globe. In 1608, the partnership also took over the Blackfriars indoor theatre.

Some of Shakespeare's plays were published in quarto editions from 1594. By 1598, his name had become a selling point and began to appear on the title pages.

Shakespeare divided his time between London and Stratford during his career. In 1596, the year before he bought New Place as his family home in Stratford, Shakespeare was living in the parish of St. Helen's, Bishopsgate, north of the River Thames. He moved across the river to Southwark by 1599, the year his company constructed the Globe Theatre there. By 1604, he had moved north of the river again, to an area north of St Paul's Cathedral with many fine houses.

Shakespeare retired to Stratford some years before his death and probably continued to visit London.^] In 1612 he was called as a witness in a court case concerning the marriage settlement of Mountjoy's daughter, Mary In March 1613 he bought a gatehouse in the former Blackfriarspriory; and from November 1614 he was in London for several weeks with his son-in-law, John Hall.

Shakespeare died on 23 April 1616 and was survived by his wife and two daughters. Susanna had married a physician, John Hall, in 1607, and Judith had married Thomas Quiney, a vintner, two months before Shakespeare’s death.

In his will, Shakespeare left the bulk of his large estate to his elder daughter Susanna. The terms instructed that she pass it down intact to "the first son of her body". The Quineys had three children, all of whom died without marrying. The Halls had one child, Elizabeth, who married twice but died without children in 1670, ending Shakespeare’s direct line. Shakespeare's will scarcely mentions his wife, Anne, who was probably entitled to one third of his estate automatically

Shakespeare was buried in the chancel of the Holy Trinity Church two days after his death. The epitaph carved into the stone slab covering his grave includes a curse against moving his bones, which was carefully avoided during restoration of the church in 2008:

PLAYS

Most playwrights of the period typically collaborated with others at some point, and critics agree that Shakespeare did the same, mostly early and late in his career .

The first recorded works of Shakespeare are Richard III and the three parts of Henry VI, written in the early 1590s during a vogue for historical drama. Shakespeare's plays are difficult to date, however, and studies of the texts suggest that Titus Andronicus, The Comedy of Errors,The Taming of the Shrew and The Two Gentlemen of Verona may also belong to Shakespeare’s earliest period. The early plays were influenced by the works of other Elizabethan dramatists, especially Thomas Kyd and Christopher Marlowe, by the traditions of medieval drama, and by the plays of Seneca. The Comedy of Errors was also based on classical models, but no source for The Taming of the Shrew has been found, though it is related to a separate play of the same name and may have derived from a folk story Like The Two Gentlemen of Verona.

Shakespeare's early classical and Italianate comedies, containing tight double plots and precise comic sequences, give way in the mid-1590s to the romantic atmosphere of his greatest comedies. A Midsummer Night's Dream is a witty mixture of romance, fairy magic, and comic lowlife scenes Shakespeare's next comedy, the equally romantic Merchant of Venice, contains a portrayal of the vengeful Jewish moneylender Shylock, which reflects Elizabethan views but may appear derogatory to modern audiences The wit and wordplay of Much Ado About Nothing, the charming rural setting of As You Like It, and the lively merrymaking of Twelfth Night complete Shakespeare's sequence of great comedies.^] After the lyrical Richard II, written almost entirely in verse, Shakespeare introduced prose comedy into the histories of the late 1590s, Henry IV, parts 1 and 2, and Henry V. His characters become more complex and tender as he switches deftly between comic and serious scenes, prose and poetry, and achieves the narrative variety of his mature work. This period begins and ends with two tragedies: Romeo and Juliet, the famous romantic tragedy of sexually charged adolescence, love, and death and Julius Caesar—based on Sir Thomas North's 1579 translation of Plutarch's Parallel Lives—which introduced a new kind of drama.

In the early 17th century, Shakespeare wrote the so-called "problem plays" Measure for Measure,Troilus and Cressida, and All's Well That Ends Well and a number of his best known tragedies.^]Many critics believe that Shakespeare's greatest tragedies represent the peak of his art. The titular hero of one of Shakespeare's most famous tragedies, Hamlet, has probably been discussed more than any other Shakespearean character, especially for his famous soliloquy "To be or not to be; that is the question". In Macbeth, the shortest and most compressed of Shakespeare's tragedies, uncontrollable ambition incites Macbeth and his wife, Lady Macbeth, to murder the rightful king and usurp the throne, until their own guilt destroys them in turn. In this play, Shakespeare adds a supernatural element to the tragic structure. His last major tragedies, Antony and Cleopatra and Coriolanus, contain some of Shakespeare's finest poetry and were considered his most successful tragedies by the poet and critic T. S. Eliot.

In his final period, Shakespeare turned to romance or tragicomedy and completed three more major plays: Cymbeline, The Winter's Tale and The Tempest, as well as the collaboration, Pericles, Prince of Tyre. Less bleak than the tragedies, these four plays are graver in tone than the comedies of the 1590s, but they end with reconciliation and the forgiveness of potentially tragic errors. Some commentators have seen this change in mood as evidence of a more serene view of life on Shakespeare's part, but it may merely reflect the theatrical fashion of the day. Ebenezer Scrooge is the protagonist of “ A Christmas Carol “.

Scrooge is a miserly stingy and rich businessman from London.

He is unfriendly and lonely. His only friend was Marley who died some years ago. He hates Christmas and all festivals and reproaches God for the Sunday rest.

He forces his humble clerk Cratchit to work the day before Christmas.

On the road he doesn’t answer the people who do him good wishes, including the lovely nephew Fred, son of his dead sister.

Because of his avid interest in money, he is hated by all people.

One night Scrooge dreams of Marley and meets three ghosts :

The Ghosts of the past Christmas, of the present Christmas and of the future Christmas.

He understands his mistakes, he repents and decides to change his life.

THE STORY

Footloose is an american musical-drama, staged in 1984, and tells the story of Ren McCormack. He’s a teenager and he loves dancing. Ren and his mother lives in Chicago, a very lively city. When his father leaves them alone, they move to a small town called Boumont and they live with his aunt and uncle. Bomont is a very religious town. Infact, the most important person is the Reverend Shaw Moore. Ren soon makes a friend, Willard, and from him he learns that Rev. Moore has prohibited dancing and rock music. He also understands that Boumont is very different from Chicago. Ren soon meets a rebellious girl, Ariel. She’s Rev.Moore’s daughter and she has a boyfriend, Chuck Cranston. Rev.Moore is very strict and ,to go out with Chuck, Ariel often lies to him. Ariel and Ren become good friends and Ariel begins to like Ren. Chuck doesn’t accept their friendship and he and Ariel have an awful row. Ren speaks to the city council. He and his classmates want to dance! Rev.Moore’s wife approves them but the Reverend tries to convince the council that dancing isn’t positive for the city. But, after thinking a lot about Ren’s idea, he approves it! Now, Ren and his friends have realized their dream: they can dance!!!

ARIEL

Ariel is Vi and Rev. Moore’s daughter. Rev.Moore is very strict with Ariel and he pretends an impeccable behaviour from her. But Ariel is rebellious; she’s a young girl and she wants to dance, enjoy or go out with her friends or with her boyfriend. So, she often lies to her father. After losing his son in an accident while he was returning from a dancing evening , Rev.Moore prohibited dancing inhis town. Ariel is very embarrassed for this situation. She is “the girl with a dark side” in the story because she must be the religious and obedient Rev.’s daughter, on one side, and a rebellious girl that wants to have fun, on the other side. She sees Ren as a “wild spirit” and she likes him! They become friends and share their problems: Ariel tells Ren about the difficult relation she has with her father. At the end, she helps Ren with his speech in front of the city council and they dance all together!

MY OPINION ABOUT THE MUSICAL

I think “footloose” is a fantastic musical because it is about teenager’s difficult relations. It’s a story about their problems, their emotions, their dreams. The musical is exciting and fun. Ren can rapresent every common teenager that loves dancing , has problems with his father and wants to realize his dream. I liked this story very much!!!

CHARLES DICKENS - ITALY

CHARLES DICKENS

The young Charles John Huffman Dickens (his full name) spent the first four years of his life in different places following the family transfers , showing already in early adolescence a deep passion for reading. His favourite works ranges from Elizabethan drama to the novels of Defoe, Fielding and Smollett, the "Arabian Nights" to "Don Quixote" by Cervantes.

In 1824 his father was arrested for debt: he was sent to prison where he remained only a few months until a small inheritance through the family enabled them to pay their debts. In those dark months the twelve year old Charles will know the hard work of the laborer, the exploitation of minors (real scandal of England at the time) and the brutality of some representatives of the lower classes. Working conditions were appalling: thrown into a factory like a dirty rat-infested barracks, together with other children of the slums pasted labels on bottles of shoe polish.

These are experiences that will remain forever in the soul like a wound never healed and that will be fruitful "humus" for his inexhaustible literary invention.

Since 1825 Charles could go back to school at the Wellington Academy, Hampstead Road, but he must leave school after two years because his father could no longer afford the tuition fee.

In May he began to work as a messenger at a law firm and spend the next two years as a parliamentary reporter , until in 1829 he got the job of journalist at the Law Courts of Doctors which he shared with his cousin Thomas Charlton.

The following year, the nineteen year older Charles fell in love with the young daughter of a banker, but both for reasons of social inequality and the opposition of her parents, the engagement dissolved three years later with a break that will leave more of a signs in the mind of Charles.

He met Catherine Hogarth in 1835, married her the next year. Significant the relationship between the writer and the two sister in-laws, Mary (whose death at the age of 16 in 1837 caused Charles an infinite sorrow and severe psychological crisis) and Georgina, 12 years younger than Catherine, who later went into the family of the writer gradually replacing the older sister in the administration of the house and did not leave even when the couple obtained a legal separation, tolerating the new love and the new relationship with Ellen Ternan.

Those who read the novels of Dickens found hidden in some female characters, the same characteristics of these unusual cognate.

On January 6th 1837 the first of eight children was born, but 1837 is the year of the first great success with both the files in episodes of "Oliver Twist" that the "Pickwick Papers" (later to become the famous "Circle Pickwick "): two masterpieces that will remain forever in the history of world literature.

This is an amazing creative period for Dickens during which the writer creates his major works, culminating with the publication of the sublime "David Copperfield".

His fame eventually spread in Europe and in America. In 1842 he made a long journey in the United States, where among other things, affected the prison system.

In July 1844 arrived in Italy and settled in Genoa with the entire family until April 1845. In 1846 he visited Switzerland and France and even in these cases confirmed its special attention to the detention facilities, their organization and purpose, a sign of great social sensitivity undoubtedly matured as a result of childhood experiences.

In May 1855, his life took an abrupt change due to the meeting with Ellen Ternan, a love that will push him to leave his family and start a new life with her. Despite the still young age of Charles Dickens he was almost a national glory: he was always engaged in public readings of his work both at home and abroad .

At the end of 1867 Dickens began a new journey in America for a tour of readings in December but he was seriously ill, so as to recover . In 1869 he began to write his latest work, "The Mystery of Edwin Drood," unfortunately remained unfinished.

His physical condition was now critical.

He suffered a brain hemorrhage that led to his death the next day: it was June 9th, 1870.June 14th will be buried with honor in Poet's Corner in Westminster Abbey.

The novels of Dickens, but with different results, are one of the high points of the social novel of the nineteenth century a mixture of classical and journalistic prose narration with a sharp eye sensitive to social realities and needs of the reader. His descriptions of environments, situations and characters are a fresco crucial to understand the English society of the nineteenth century.

THE TECHNOLOGICAL WORLD

If I think about the world in general, only one thing can come up to my mind: communication. It’s the most important thing for the communication market. Worldwide companies are dependent on communication over the Internet. All current evidence indicates that our personal and professional lives are becoming much more dependent on the electronic communication tools as we move forward the 21^st century.

Most online networking sites that are designed for professional purposes can provide an excellent opportunity for both research in academic centres and industry.

With these examples we can conclude that the new developments in communications have a dramatic effect on political, economic, social, scientific and cultural relations in the world.

The Internet

The world is in a constant change since the human appearance we have never given up searching and knowing more and more.

The Industrial Revolution was just a new step in this way where we have been walking for years. Every step that we took and that we are taking has a big influence in our professional and personal lives.

The electronic communications are the step that we are taking now. We are moving towards another reality, and every reality has good and bad aspects.

Today, it is really easy to take the wrong step and we should pay attention. Internet is great but it is not wonderland.

Nowadays, almost everyone has an email account or Facebook, Twitter, and it sure makes communication easier, but we should never forget who we are behind the monitor. We shouldn’t forget what is traditional, our souls, who we are and we should take the step with all the security that is needed.

Children watch too much TV, and for me that is a great problem. Today children are too dependent on technology, they don’t go out to stay at home watching TV and that for me has more disadvantages than advantages. Children are getting more violent because of what they watch on television, they confuse the television world with real life. They are also getting overweight because they stay long hours in front of the Tv eating and they never do physical exercise.

The only advantage of television is that while they are watching TV they are learning a lot of things, of course depending on the channel they are watching.

Children shouldn’t watch TV more than two hours per day. That’s really bad not just for their intellectual diet but to their health too.

The European Union

I do consider myself a European. At the moment I don’t think I would want to be an American, Asian or African because the world is facing such a crisis that nothing good would come of me being from another country.

I think it is quite important that we belong to the EU, it is good because we can solve bigger problems as a whole than as a part. It is like that saying: “two heads are better than one”, this way everyone can communicate and decide which is the best solution to a problem that may seem unsolvable.

It is also good to be in the EU when you want to travel, there are less boundaries.

The biggest problem, which we are noticing now, is that when the crisis arrives to a country it drags all the other ones down with it, and then it is hard to get to their former glory.

Belonging to the EU is also good when we travel, because most of the countries have the same currency, which means we don’t need to exchange money every time we travel to a neighbour country.

The EU isn’t only flowers but I am happy to be part of such a great event as the European Union.

Globalization

Globalization may be described as a generalization of ways of life, habits, values and experiences. We live in an integrated world, without borders, where there is exchange of people, goods and ideas.

Nowadays, our world is surrounded by a lot of corporations that “command” these exchanges and move their goods, services, money, ideas and cultural habits.

With Globalization we have faster economic growth and better living standards, new opportunities and a lot of cultural sharing, but some people consider that Globalization is in fact another word for Americanization, because the US is by far the biggest producer of popular cultural goods that have a nasty influence on worldwide traditions. For example the McDonald’s and Coca-Cola corporations that are spread all over the world and have become famous, everyone consumes their products.

That’s why we may consider that corporations are actors, which play the their own rules, just trying to sell their goods and services.

While the primary goal of education is to challenge the mind and to open up the mind to new thoughts and opinions, learning is in its raw form is a social experience.

The primary goal of educators is to create an interest in a subject so that children will want to research both the technical facts and other people's opinions in order to develop opinions of their own, possibly

even developing a more profound approach to solving a social problem. After all, it is the goal of all humans, even young children, to solve all societal problems and for all of us to be happy. This is where the library has played a pivotal role in education. It is a physical place where people go to freely exchange ideas.

The library is an irreplaceable and valuable tool in the education of children, not just because there are books there. It is a safe place to exchange ideas with others that have similar interests. It is a social experience. As young children begin to develop socially, they are seeking information about who they are, where they come from and they are also seeking out those who are having similar thoughts and questions. Not only can technical questions be answered at the library, but where person fits in amongst their piers can also be examined. Many questions can be answered through social experiences at the library, while still protecting the innocence and natural curiosity of children.

Top Ten reasons the Internet will not replace public libraries

1. The primary use of the Internet is (and will increasingly be)

entertainment, not education. There are many fine resources on the Net,

but the reason that it will expand into everyone's home is

entertainment. The average American no longer reads a newspaper. Will

they pay to receive a digest of bills being considered by Congress?

Already, the Net is clogged with gifs, games, MUDs and shareware. The

future holds worse and more of it.

2. The Net will become increasingly commercial. We are "A Nation of

Salesmen" (available in hard copy at your local public library). Despite

the resistance of people like us, the Net will inevitably become

commercialized. There is money to be made, useless things to be sold and

mass taste to pander to. CBS basketball, the Simpsons, and CNN's O.J.

coverage all have Web sites. Gresham's law holds here. We will see

relatively fewer educational sites and many more entertainment style

sites. Even educational sites will have to become increasing

entertaining to be noticed. Many of the pioneer TV and radio stations

were run by universities, but public TV ismarginalized today. As a

system, the Net will more closely resemble cable (an entertainment

network) than the library (an educational network). If you want to se

the future content of the Net, turn on MTV.

3. Use will be metered. How many of us PUBLIB subscribers are metered?

Most of us have access through our jobs. The vast majority of Net users

will be metered, just as with electricity. The more you use, the more

you pay. The freenet (a trademarked name) concept is under attack by

businesses. Freenets often use government support (from universities,

libraries, etc.) to provide access, interfering with someone's chance to

make money selling access to the Net. With cutbacks coming at most

universities, the support will disappear or diminish and the lawsuits

will hasten the process. The notion that government will establish

information utilities is unrealistic. All recent legislation tends

toward turning this over to telcos and anyone else who thinks they can

make a buck. Read the small print - the estimated cost of running fiber

is $1,000 per house. If you want to see the future of Net access, read

your cable bill, then multiply.

4. What the Net does best (communication) is not a threat to libraries.

One place where the Net will truly change things is communication,

where e-mail, listserv and conferences echo the trend to narrowcasting.

This has serious benefits for medicine, education and anyone who wants

to seriously discuss any topic. After people get tired of watching

Simpson video clips, this will have lasting value. Great, but not a

threat to the continued existence of libraries.

5. Ease of use. The net is like the Library of Congress without a

catalog or shelving system. It is easy to find entertaining things, but

hard to find real information. So far, the Net has gotten by on

providing a large browsing area and letting the gee-whiz aspects

satisfy. Archie and veronica servers are too crowded to use. Gopher

menus are being limited by their designers to avoid allowing access to

some kinds of information and this will get worse with increasing

commercialization. If I want to know how my senator voted on a bill, it

is much easier to call his office and ask than to wander through

THOMAS. I think the commercial providers will continue to use a strategy

that develops addicts. Like a casino or TV, occasional positive

reinforcement works best.

6. The authenticity problem. Due to persistent security problems,

nothing on the Net is authentic. The Congressional information on the

much heralded THOMAS is not official, only the paper copy is. Your e-

mail is not secure, a problem that will not get better with increasing

commercialization. Documents on the Net may or not be actually written

by the person whose name is on the bottom. This lack of authority

mirrors TV or radio. When your child is sick, you go see an actual

doctor, instead of downloading a file that could have been modified as a

prank. Check out William Gibson's Neuromancer.

7. Better than paper? For communications, yes. But I can get more recent

weather forecasts on the Weather Channel and more up-to-date sports on

CNN. GIGO applies here too. How many sites have the CIA World Factbook

available? Much of that information is outdated and should be

supplemented by recent magazine articles. Internet Hunt questions are

carefully tailored to Net resources, giving the illusion that the Net is

the ultimate resource. Like a badly constructed spreadsheet, the Net can

provide answers that are not accurate.

8. Copyright. Even if 80% of all documents are in electronic format,

Stephen King's word processor is not a web site.There have been some

interesting experiments in Net documents, but notice that the 2nd

editions of the successes will be copyrighted and sold. There are still

no free lunches

9. Data costs and good data costs more. The "free" information on the

Net has reliability problems. If you want reliability, you will pay

more. There will be gateways with passwords and a running meter to get

to the "good" information. For example, you can get a series of phone

numbers from an old paper phonebook at the library for free, you can pay

$99 for a mostly accurate CD-ROM or you can sign on for $4,000 and use

the NYNEX database. This increases the need for libraries, who can share

the cost of clean data among their users.The free lunches are

disappearing and what will be left is bread and circuses.

10. Surfing is the right metaphor. Surfing is fun, good exercise. It may

be cheap, but it is not free. If you live in Wisconsin, it can be very

expensive. It can change your life, but is unlikely to make you rich,

better educated, more personable or more employable. You need

specialized equipment and have to know how to use it. You can surf for

hours, but you end up back on the beach.

THE SEARCH FOR THE MAGIC PARCHMENTS

Once upon a time, there was Alice in Wonderland. Alice was a little bored, she thought her wonderland was too perfect, that her friends were nice, as it was all too perfect. So she decided to go on an adventure to find something else fun to do. On her way, she found a door, where it was written "DANGER, DO NOT OPEN WORLD 2009". As she couldn't resist to her curiosity, she opened the door and was sucked into a garbage can that was in a small alley and in the World 2009 ...

Meanwhile in Snow White:

Snow White had become a great fashion designer. That evening there was a big parade, where she was presenting her new dress.

But her rivals had destroyed her dress. And it took more than two hours to remake her dress and she had no money to buy the fabric she needed to remake the dress.

So she decided to make a green dress by recycling waste paper, plastic bottles ... When she had finished collecting everything, she needed an envelope; she found a piece of parchment that she had kept, because it was very beautiful.

During this time with Alice ...
Alice tried to find the door through which she had returned, but it was gone. She wanted to get out of the trash, but could not. When she managed to get out of the trash, she slipped on a banana peel and fell into a mud puddle. When she managed to get up, she found in her shoe a piece of parchment, which she kept.

Cinderella in parallel:

Cinderella became the mother of four children. She had a large house with an elevator, a marble staircase, chandeliers and golden mirrors... When she came back from school, she found her children in, whith an invitation that was another piece of parchment, which she kept in her purse. She was invited to the fashion show which Snow White was involved in at 9.30pm. When she left home to go to the parade, she passed the alley where Alice was when she passed her, splashed into the stock on a puddle of water with her 4X4.

Meanwhile in the Mediterranean SEA

Ariel was playing with her sisters when a tanker sank and caused an oil spill. Many fish died and sirens could not swim because their scales were coated with oil. So, in order to save all the sirens Ariel decided to go to the witche's, so that she gives her legs. But when she arrived, the witch had gone, she had gone, leaving all her potions. But Ariel served herself and could find legs and then swim up to the Egyptian coasts where she fainted, as she was exhausted. Cleopatra was thinking about a way to stop the draining of the Nile and saw Ariel lying on the sand, half naked with a piece of parchment stuck in her belt.

When she brought Ariel she found in her pyramid on her throne a piece of parchment, she put it in a glass near her throne, because it was particularly nice. When Ariel awoke, she found that Ariel and Cleopatra sang beautifully and she asked if she could sing for her. Ariel agreed. Cleopatra then sent an email to Cinderella, because they were very friendly to invite her to the Ariel'show.

In parallel with Cinderella, Snow White and Alice :

Snow White had a great success with her recycled dress and Cinderella wanted to see Snow White to congratulate her on her new creation. Cinderella, when she received the invitation email proposed to accompany Snow White. Snow White gladly accepted. On their way with her private jet Snow White saw Alice, who was desperate. Snow White and Cinderella offered to take her with them. Cinderella accepted. Cinderella called Alice and asked her if she would come with them. Alice said « yes ». When she got into the car they departed to the airport. When they arrived, they took the jet and they arrived in Egypt two hours later. When they landed, Cleopatra gave them a magnificent host.

During Ariel's performance, Cinderella noticed the piece of parchment at the window near the throne. She called Snow White to show her the piece of parchment. She was surprised to see the parchment. She called Ariel and Cleopatra to ask them where they had found it. They replied that they had found it on her throne (Cleopatra ) and in Alice's belt, then Alice, Ariel, Snow White and Cinderella took out their piece of parchment. Alice saw that it could fit with Ariel's parchment. And the four other girls noticed that each piece of parchment formed a single scroll. When they met, a ray of golden light appeared above the pieces of parchment and also a magic formula. They shouted aloud together and then the ray expanded and enveloped the earth. All human problems went away like magic. But a message appeared in the sky saying : « All those who are to pollute or damage the earth will be punished. » The Nile was dried up and more oil from the Mediterranean Sea disappeared. Alice, Snow White, Cinderella and Ariel went home and they saw that the earth was no more polluted.

La Tolérance

Dans un magasin, le patron doit embaucher une personne. Mais deux personnes viennent se présenter . Pour les départager il organise trois épreuves. Une consiste à aider les clients, l'autre à ranger les articles sur les étagères et la dernière consiste à faire la caisse. Les deux personnes sont noire et blanche. Le blanc ne réussit pas alors que le noir réussit à merveille. Deux jours passèrent et le patron devait faire un choix. Il choisit le blanc. Le noir, très étonné, ne comprend pas, il demande au patron pourquoi il n'était pas choisit. Le patron lui répond qu'il ne prendra jamais de noir dans son magasin. Le noir décide alors d'appeler son avocat pour expliquer que le patron de ce magasin était raciste . Le patron passa au jugement et fut condamné à 3 ans de prison et à 50 000 euros d'amande .

C'est pour cela que la tolérance est importante dans ce monde.

MALCHANCE

Ce fut un samedi, plus précisément le jour qui marqua le début de mes vacances. J'avais donc 13 ans et j'étais parti visiter la France avec ma famille pour passer l'été. Ce jour là j'étais devant mon ordinateur en train de naviguer sur des sites de jeux en ligne, c'est là qu'une fenêtre internet s'ouvre à part et que je tombe sur un site de rencontres.
Moi qui n'avais aucun ami, c'était le site idéal pour moi ! J'ai donc engagé une conversation avec un inconnu qui voulait être mon ami, ce dernier me posait énormément de questions dont l'âge que j'avais, mon adresse, mon nom de famille ainsi que mon prénom, mon lieu de résidence etc...
J'ai donc répondu à toutes ces questions en disant la vérité, mais en ce moment, je réalise que ce que je venais de faire était la pire erreur de ma vie.
Puis je lui posais des questions à mon tour mais celles-ci étaient différentes des siennes, car elle étaient moins personnelles.
Peu après, au bout d'une heure environ mon interlocuteur termina la conversation avec un : « Merci pour cette discussion, mais je dois y aller, au revoir. ».
Mais je remarquais pendant une semaine que la personne qui etait censée être mon ami, ne m'avait plus parlé pendant une semaine entière.
Jusqu'à ce qu'un dimanche soir, une étrange personne frappa à la porte de chez moi, ce jour -là, j'étais tout seul chez moi, car ma famille était allée à une fêee chez des amis, j'avais décidé de rester chez moi, car je détestais aller chez des gens que je ne connaissais pas, j'ai donc ouvert la porte et là, un homme me prit par la gorge et m'assomma d'un coup de batte de baseball, je me rendais à peine compte de ce qui étaisten train de m'arriver, puis, après une fraction de seconde je compris l'erreur la plus grave que j'ai commise de toute ma vie ,qui eéait d'avoir voulu connaître une personne dont je ne savais rien.
A mon réveil, je fus dépouillé de mon argent et des objets que je portais sur moi. J'étais terrifié par ce qui s'était passé. Au retour de ma famille, j'ai raconté tout ce qui s'était passé à mes parents, y compris la cause de ces problèmes. Notre maison a été cambriolée à cause de ce voleur et mes parents m'ont passé un savon. Ces derniers ont contacté la police juste après que je leur eu raconté ce qui s'était passé et ce qui en était la cause.
Les policiers arrivèrent chez moi et prélevèrent les empreintes de doigts du cambrioleur sur la poignée de la porte et questionnèrent ma famille sur l'incident qui s'était produit. Le voleur fut arrêt^é quelques jours plus tard et nous étions soulagé, et j'ai appris une bonne lecçn par la suite : ne jamais faire confiance à une personne dont on ne sait rien. Fairly

Co jest dla mnie ważne?

Nie mam wątpliwości co do tego, że przyjaźń w życiu człowieka jest bardzo ważna. Na przyjacielu można zawsze polegać i zwierzyć mu się z najskrytszych tajemnic. Jemu bez wahania można powierzyć najskrytsze tajemnice, nie bojąc się, że je zdradzi. Warto jest mieć przyjaciela i chyba nikt nie ma wątpliwości co do tego faktu.

Ciężko jest tym, którzy nie mają tak bliskiego człowieka. Naprawdę dużo tracą. Nie ma wspólnych spotkań, zwierzeń, śmiechu i płaczu. Nie ma tego, co jest w życiu najważniejsze. Wydaje mi się, że wielu ludzi za swoje największe skarby w życiu uważa przyjaźń i miłość, a nie pieniądze, władzę i karierę. Przyjaźń jest wzajemnym zaufaniem, radością przebywania z drugą osobą, życiem problemami innego człowieka, pewnym rodzajem bliskości. Ludzie najczęściej dobierają sobie przyjaciół, którzy są w pewien sposób do nich podobni lub takich, którzy są ich przeciwieństwem.

Jednak moim zdaniem, dla dziecka, największymi przyjaciółmi są rodzice. To oni są z nami zawsze, od naszych pierwszych postawionych kroków, od pojawienia się pierwszych ząbków oraz gdy pierwszy raz idziemy do szkoły. To im zawsze możemy powiedzieć co jest nie tak i co tak naprawdę nas gnębi. A czy teraz wczasach gdzie telewizja i Internet odgrywają taką dużą rolę w życiu człowieka, istnieje jeszcze przyjaźń?? Nawet dziś człowiek potrzebuje wsparcia, rady i bliskości przyjaciół. Oczywiście przyjaźń nie spada z nieba, trzeba o nią zabiegać i pielęgnować ją. We współczesnych czasach odległość już nie uniemożliwia nam kontaktów. Krócej do siebie podróżujemy, możemy do siebie dzwonić, pisać maile.

Podsumowując moje rozważania uważam, że przyjaźń dla każdego jest czymś innym. Jej rola zmieniała się zarówno przez kolejne mijające wieki, jak i w czasie rozwijania się człowieka. Jednak sądzę, iż zawsze będzie najważniejszą wartością, najważniejszym skarbem w życiu człowieka.

Co jest dla mnie ważne?

Nie mam wątpliwości co do tego, że przyjaźń w życiu człowieka jest bardzo ważna. Na przyjacielu można zawsze polegać i zwierzyć mu się z najskrytszych tajemnic.
