In a world increasingly globalised, where regional problems become global and we are politically and economically dependent on each other, we are faced with the necessity of establishing some criteria to help us solve some problems or understand other cultures. So it is necessary to break some barriers by learning new languages for a better communication.
However, the importance of learning new languages, including English, is also the need to understand the world around us.
Furthermore, personal , professional , social and economic areas all point out the advantage of learning a foreign language.
This way we can come to the conclusion that a person who can speak different languages will be able to break the barriers between nations, contributing to the peace of world and that means that learning English is very important to overcome the limits of our world .

The main goal of a language is communication and when we learn a foreign language it is obviously to connect us with the native speakers for many reasons like business or international issues, namely environmental economic or political problems that touch everyone. Besides this, learning foreign languages is a cultural process because all languages always carry a history, people traditions or any other cultural marks that should never disappear.
Thus, when we talk about learning another language, we are talking about the discovery of a multi- cultural and wonderful world where we live in. If we don’t search and learn about the other languages we’ll be throwing away an invaluable opportunity of becoming a world citizen.

This world of ours is a global village, a global community. So, in order to survive, nations need people who can speak several languages thus contributing to the peace of the world and bringing the nations closer.
Learning another language gives you the chance to communicate with people worldwide and understand other cultures. In order to do that we need to bump into those cultures.
From the moment we won’t be able to understand and be understood, the world will fall apart and wars will break out.
That’s why learning foreign languages is so important; everyone should learn at least another language .
In my opinion, this is the meaning of “ The limits of my language means the limits of my world”.
